“TGMS Friends” Program
The Tucson Gem & Mineral Society is a non profit organization based in Tucson, Arizona. Our mission is to encourage interest and study in geology, mineralogy, lapidary, and allied earth sciences.
All revenue goes to support Society activities including year round educational events, field trips, member events, research, publications and the world famous Tucson Gem and Mineral Show®. Your support goes directly to increasing awareness and growing the knowledge and appreciation for the hobby and science we all love.
As you know, the cost of maintaining all of the events/programs that the Society produces has risen dramatically over recent years - including the cost associated with producing the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show®.

Education - Providing classroom visits and field trip opportunities for students in Tucson year round to encourage and education the next generation of enthusiasts and scientists. Supported entirely by members and donations.
Community Outreach - The Society’s hope is to create an impact on curious young minds, and share the delight in the science and beauty of minerals and related earth sciences.
Trips - Organizing and leading a variety of exclusive field trips to mines and other sites throughout the Southwest is a highlight of membership for many.
